Dan came out to do an inspection and set bait for mice. He was friendly, explained his work well, and gave us a good idea of what our next steps will be. Thanks for all your work on helping us with our rodent problem!

Explained what might be causing ants and helped protect the home by doing extra where the source was. Very personable and friendly.

On 6/2/25, Nick texted me in advance, came & completed the job and sent me pictures! He noticed a place where squirrels could possibly get in, & replied promptly when I asked for clarification on what part of the house it was. He was excellent & totally deserves a tip! [Please note, I don't know why the following recommendations I've made over a couple years don't seem to have posted. I hope all of them, including Nock's today, do post.] On 1/17/25, Jerome texted me that he was coming to do the exterior treatment. I didn't see that text, but he left a little note saying he'd been here & completed it. I texted him back to thank him and see if there was anything else I should do. He texted back promptly, & we were done! Completely seamless. I stand by everything I wrote farther down, probably 3 years ago. Jian D. [From 2024:] was communicative through a couple necessary appointment changes. He especially was clear that it's best to keep our beloved 3 pets inside. The following was written previously, and is still true: As always with Rainbow Rainbow Pest Experts, the treatment was thorough, and we do not have bugs coming in the house...even the cold bugs! Thank you, Rainbow! (They have helped me keep my 120-year-old duplex in great shape against ants & mice, which were a year-round problem before I started with them. They've always been courteous and considerate, including through the COVID pandemic, talking with me about how to keep me, the people I share the house with, and their employees safe. I recommend them without reservation! Update: today (probably 2022), Mike replaced or filled interior mouse bait, filled cracks in the foundation, and did the exterior spraying, all in less than an hour. And we had a fun conversation, too!)

McKenzie provided a heads-up phone call prior to her arrival and ask me if I had any questions. I mentioned my concerns and she addressed each one. After she completed the work, she called me and let me know every detail on what applications where they were put and why. And was great to work with.

Rainbow has really helped me eliminate pest problems in my older home. Thanks to Roderick and other employees, I haven’t seen evidence of pavement ants or mice in several years.

The service was done thoroughly and efficiently. I also had a number of questions answered and was educated on the different kinds of ants that were in my yard. Juan also mouse-proofed the exterior of my house and none have gotten in this winter.

My late summer service was applied by James. He was also efficient and answered some new questions I had about some bugs I saw on my trees. On his advice I’ll be speaking with a tree-care specialist soon.

Dan came today and did my annual inspection. He also gave me a quote for pest-proofing my garage. He was quick and thorough.

Jordan arrived today when he said he would and was friendly and efficient. I am glad that all the spiders and ants stay in the yard rather than the deck and house.

Update 5.23.25 Rainbow has worked diligently to help resolve the "slab mouse" problem. They are actually "polynesian rats." They aren't mice as I understand from an expert. They are diggers and will dig down under a basement following pipes to the house. They often gain access via basements unlike mice which usually are found near food sources and kitchens. These "mice" have never been in the cupboards and have never touched the food even in the traps we've set for the last 10 months which is why they are so hard to get rid of. Exclusion is the only path to resolve the infestation. I appreciate that Rainbow continues to work with us to eliminate access for these awful creatures.

Update to last update 12.29.24 - mouse just ran from my kitchen to under my couch after I updated this review. I hope no one else has to go through this for months. It's awful.

12.29.24 Update to original review from 11.12.24.

We've had Rainbow Pest Experts out to the house 4 or 5 times now since Nov 11th. They sealed up the outside of the house, put out 39 bait stations and suggested mitigations for the dryer vent, the unused AC unit and brush around the property. All of these have been done, including DIY sealing with steel wool under all the sinks.

We still have mice and they have not once touched any of the bait in 6 weeks! Last Tues Juan brought out different bait but I had already put that type of bait out a week earlier and not a nibble. The mice sightings and droppings are daily.

The only traps they suggested were glue traps. In the 7 weeks since we called, we've caught only one mouse.

Seven weeks after spending nearly $1300 we have not seen a reduction in the mice sightings and droppings.

We called them the first day we saw a mouse and almost two months in we've seen no reduction in mice and the mice don't eat the bait. Not sure what the resolution is but they might need different bait. It's a lot to spend to not have any results and still have to listen to them chew every night and run through the house where we can see them every day. It's a dystopian nightmare.

Update - I have an "Urban Mouse" problem. Damian was invaluable in diagnosing the issue. The way to resolve this issue will take longer but I am so grateful for his knowledge, expertise, and help!
